The New Jersey Intergenerational Orchestra's mission is to bridge the generations through music by providing an educational and entertaining music program both for its members and its various audiences. NJIO brings together musicians of different ages and abilities to promote mutual growth and understanding through the experience of musical performance. Members have ranged in age from 6 to 93 and have come from over 44 communities throughout New Jersey.
