NJIO Winter Concert 2026

Sunday March 1st @ 3PM

Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart

89 Ridge Street, Newark NJ

Step into the breathtaking Gothic grandeur of Newark’s Cathedral Basilica for a concert celebrating the resilience, beauty, and joy of the human spirit. Our three intergenerational orchestras will perform works that uplift and inspire, culminating in William Grant Still’s groundbreaking Afro-American Symphony. Arrive early to celebrate the musical talent of Newark’s youth with a performance by Keys 2 Success. Whether you’re a classical music devotee or simply curious, this is a rare chance to experience the power of live performance in one of New Jersey’s most spectacular spaces. Come as you as, leave with your spirits raised! All of NJIO’s concerts are free; no tickets are required. More information at www.njio.org/concert-page
